I took these pictures in Singapore almost 2 years ago. I was enraptured by the beams of light piercing through the clouds. It was surreal.

This picture intrigued me. I took it on the bus on the way to the Bar Mitzvah in Miami last week. This elderly Chassid seemed absorbed in this thoughts, clutching on to his plastic bag and cane. He didn't flinch - not even when the flash from my camera momentarily lit up the bus. As my teacher would say "'GEZUNTERHEIT!"

I've picked this gorgeous pic of 770 Eastern Parkway (not taken by me!) to epitomise this idea. I don't think its snowed that hard since, though.
