Coffee with Simcha who was recently in NY for the Kinnus.

Chanie Kaminetski, shlucha from Dnepropetrovsk (Ukraine) who fabrenged with us yesterday. Chanie shared with us her personal encounters with Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka, as well as stories of being on shlichus in the Dnepropetrovsk. My classmate Tanya (from the Ukraine) taught me (successfully) how to pronounce "Dnepropetrovsk". I am grateful for small miracles.

At the Ohel on Chof Beis Shvat... I was one of a long line of women waiting to daven at the resting place of Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka.

In the basement of the Machon Chana dorm on President Street.....

Aviva (balloon in hair) & Chani just before Rochel Sayers' birthday farbrengen last week.

Walking to school was no easy feat. It took almost twice as long cos apart from trying not to slip, I also stopped to take in the beauty ... and the ... uh.... slush.... I slipped once but B'H did not take an unglamorous tumble southwards.

Everything was covered in snow this morning.....

And a group pic for the memories...... we'll miss you Miriam-Chava!

And there were of course some of us who were more interested in the ice-cream.... thats ok Aviva we still love you.....

Chumash class in progress... here's Rivky trying to control the class.... (without much success) cos we were having a Siyum to mark

A) the completion of Perek Chof-Alef in Parshas Vayeira

B) the completion of our (entire) Hebrew language workbook

C) Miriam-Chava's last day with us in Machon Chana.

We had yummy ice-cream and fruit (in honour of Tu B'Shvat).

Ta-daaaaaaaa! The view from my main door. FINALLY I get the white winter I've been waiting for ! its ABOUT time!
